CONFIDENTIALITY:
I usually make brief notes during counselling sessions. It helps me to think about your case and help you better. You cannot be identified from the notes as I do not write down any identifiable information. Moreover, the notes I make are locked away in a safe and absolutely no one except me can have access to them. Those rules apply to my supervisor as well. I destroy them all 6 months after our sessions ended.
Our sessions content is confidential and I treat your privacy very seriously. However, as your counsellor I reserve the right to break confidentiality in the following circumstances:
• If ordered to do so by a court of law, as the law requires me to report any disclosures of Child Protection, Drug trafficking and Terrorism.
• If I am provided with information that might indicate a threat to your life, or that of someone else, I reserve the right to report this information to your GP or other relevant services. Before proceeding with this I would inform you of my intentions.
• As part of my ongoing training, I attend regular supervision sessions. At this time, I may discuss my clients’ cases with my supervisor. In such case to ensure your confidentiality I will only refer to you by a client code. No names, dates or addresses are mentioned.
APPOINTMENTS:
A Consultation/ therapeutic session lasts for fifty (50) minutes. The sessions will take place at an agreed time and place. If for any reason I have to cancel your appointment, I will endeavour to find another appointment to suit you. If I am unable to find another time you will not be charged.
FEES:
- Therapeutical session/ single consultation (50 min) – £50
- Couples/family therapy (50min) – £65
- A letter confirming the therapy has been commenced – free of charge
- Therapeutic report to court, insurance company, medical doctor, employer, etc. – after completed therapy is free
- Therapeutic report to court, insurance company, medical doctor, employer, etc. – without necessary therapy at MMTherapy – £ 60
- Parental course single session (50min) – £65
- All payments need to be paid to below account in advance, at least two working days before the session, unless agreed otherwise.
- A session is booked in when you confirm that it has been paid. Consequently if you decide to continue the therapy with me in order to make sure the necessary timeslot has been secured for you it is necessary to agree and pay the coming session once you have just finished the previous one.

TERMINATION:
You are free to end your sessions at any time, but a planned ending may prove more beneficial for you.
I reserve the right to terminate counselling immediately should you commit, or threaten to commit, any physical harm to yourself or to me, or if you cause any damage to the Clinic. In such case no reimbursement is possible.
If you arrive to a session under the influence of alcohol, or any non-prescription drugs, I also reserve the right to terminate the sessions. In such case no reimbursement is possible.
CANCELLATION:
I respect your time and expect the same attitude from you. I reserve the right to charge for cancelled sessions where you have not given me 48 hours notice of cancellation. I reserve the right to end counselling when two sessions are cancelled in a row.
